Coming in November 2009: SCIVAPM & the Holistic Club are co-hosting Dr. Shauna Cantwell (University of Florida) for a three day lecture series and weekend wet lab. This event will be open to club members first. Additional space may be available to other campus members.
Coming October 2009: SCIVAPM is hosting Dr. Thomas Walker (Ross University) to speak on pain management in the emergency/critical care patient. This lecture will be free and open to all campus members.
March 11, 2009: SCIVAPM presented visiting guest lecturer Dr. Shauna Cantwell (University of Florida) who spoke to students on acupuncture and the role of holistic medicine in pain management.
November 11, 2008: SCIVAPM holds its first campus wide meeting and presented visiting guest lecturer Dr. Kip Lempke (Prince Edwards Island) who spoke on local anesthesia for small animals. This initial meeting and lecture attended by approximately 100 students and free ice cream from Scoops was provided!!
July 7, 2008 : SCIVAPM Recognized by SAAVMA as official Ross University Organization.
